Balsamic Herbal Marinade
Ingredients
½ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp grated lemon zest
⅔ cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves minced garlic
¼ cup chopped parsley
4 tbsp finely chopped basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 pinch salt
1 pinch cracked black pepper
Method
- Combine the vinegar, lemon juice and zest in a bowl.
- Add the olive oil gradually.
- Add the remaining ingredients and marinade meat or vegetables in the fridge for a couple of hours. If used with meat marinade for an extra hour or two.
- This will keep in the fridge for around a week.
