Turkish style Chicken in Yogurt
2 tsp dried red onion
2 tsp paprika
8 ounces Greek yogurt
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp or more red wine vinegar
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 sliced lemon
2 lb skinless boneless chicken
- Add the crushed red pepper and pepper to a bowl and stir in about 2 tbsp of water then let it stand for 5 minutes until a paste forms.
- Add the remaining ingredients and stir in the sliced lemon last.
- Add the chicken and allow to marinate in the fridge over night.
- Although this marinade was for chicken it may work well with Lamb.
