Turkish Chicken Kebab
1 diced onion
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground paprika
¼ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp ground chilli
This recipe works well with 4 chicken breasts but you could also use skinless boneless thighs. It would work well with lamb also. Adjust the amount of chilli to your liking.
- Combine the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the chicken and marinate in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
- Spray the kebab with spray oil before grilling.
