Slimming Chicken Kebab
4 chicken breasts
200 ml fat free yogurt
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 pinch cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 unit (not displayed) finely chopped onion
1 pinch black pepper
This is basically a slimming world compliant marinade. The original recipe uses chicken thighs, but I preferred to use breasts and also decided that a pinch of black pepper was required.
- Cube the chicken breasts large enough to sit on a skewer, but not too large.
- Combine the marinade ingredients either in a bag, bowl or other container and add the chicken.
- This recipe in particular seems to benefit from being marinated slowly so leave it in the fridge over night for at least 8 to 10 hours.
