Simple Beef Marinade
¼ cup red wine vinegar
½ cup dry red wine
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp sugar
½ cup olive oil
2 cloves sliced garlic
2 tbsp chopped parsley
2 tbsp chopped lemon juice
1 pinch coarse ground black pepper
- Combine the wet ingredients and sugar in a bowl adding the olive oil last a little at a time.
- Next add the garlic and herbs.
- Add the appropriate amount of salt and pepper to suit your taste.
- Marinate the beef in the fridge overnight, but not longer than 2 days.
